Yuki Takazawa
Yuki Takazawa is a Japanese-Israeli angel investor who has made a name for himself as a savvy angel investor in Japan. He is currently a part of the Tiger Funding show, which is the Japanese version of the popular TV show Shark Tank. Takazawa has been successful in identifying great investments and has helped many startups get off the ground.
Takazawa's success in the business world can be attributed to his time in Israel, where he lived for 10 years. He is married to an Israeli woman and has two children. During his time in Israel, Takazawa was a business owner dealing with SEO and marketing in very competitive sectors. Shay Hugi
Shay Hugi is a serial entrepreneur and tech-savvy individual based in Tel Aviv, Israel. He is married with one child and has made a name for himself in the startup world with his many successful ventures.
Hugi's entrepreneurial journey began in 2002 when he founded MPT Systems, a company that developed a CMTS provisioning and management software that was sold worldwide to CATV companies. He gained the knowledge to develop the software from key network engineering and cyber security positions he held at prominent cable companies and internet providers in Israel at the time, such as "Arutzei Zahav" and "Gilat Satcom".
Since 2003, Hugi has been involved in online business and marketing, both worldwide and in Japan, working together with his longtime friend and business partner, Yuki Takazawa. He was a pioneer in using SEO techniques, under his ownership of Hugi Software & Investments.
In 2012, Hugi became the first investor in Nordeus, the company that created Top Eleven Football Manager, which became the most successful football game on mobile markets with over 100,000,000 players. He also co-founded Sunset Games, which developed Indie Facebook & Mobile Games.
Currently, Hugi is the co-founder and part-time CTO of Cheetah Games, a company that develops mobile casual games for the US market. Alongside his business ventures, he is also a musician and electronic music composer, co-owning Ring Mode Records which holds rights for over 4,000 tracks on online streaming platforms and a movie producer with his venture Hugi Films.
Hugi has now partnered with his longtime friend and business partner, Yuki Takazawa, to manage the Israel Japan Fund.
